Everyone loves chocolate. Chia? Well…
On the face of it, the combination of Chia and Chocolate might seem odd. We all know chia is healthful, providing benefits from aiding in weight loss, hydration, blood sugar control and appetite suppression. And have you heard that chia seeds have as much Omega-3 as salmon?
Dark chocolate has potential as a cancer-fighting food, is high in antioxidants, and is actually heart-healthy. By that we mean that it helps to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow to your brain, as well as to your heart. So, feel the loves and get the smarts!
Who is Stephanie Dalton and what does she know?
Based in the Seattle area, until about 8 years ago she worked as a website producer for Microsoft and other companies. The founder of Chia & Chocolate teaches fitness classes including BarreFusion. Blending Pilates, yoga, the Lotte Berk Method, and weight lifting, BarreFusion produces a toned, flexible, healthy body and a clear mind.
I’m a busy mom, and I know how challenging it is to raise kids, run a bustling household, and work both in and out of the home, all while trying to find time to take care of yourself.
Stephanie gives you step-by-step instructions for reclaiming vibrant energy, losing unwanted weight, balancing your hormones and your gut. And btw, you’ll also experience glowing skin, smooth digestion, and a thriving metabolism! Learn how to plan & cook healthy meals (that your kids will like!). And discover an exercise/relaxation routine that’s just right for you and your unique lifestyle.
Excellence in physical and mental fitness
In 2002, I founded Maya, a Seattle based whole health studio that integrates physical mind/body exercise with holistic wellness methods, including nutrition, acupuncture, and massage.
Maya won multiple People’s Choice Awards, and the Yoga/Pilates instructional videos were named “Best DVD Box Set” by the Seattle Times. Drawing on this broad spectrum of knowledge, Stephanie will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, goals, and lifestyle.
On a more formal note, here are her credentials: Certified Integrative Nutritionist (Functional Nutrition Alliance). AADP Certified Health Coach. Registered Integrative Nutrition Coach. Transformational Coaching Method practitioner (Health Coach Institute). Hormone Cure Coach (Dr. Sara Gottfried). Pilates (Stott Pilates). Barre and Yoga Instructor (200 RYT). Fitness Fanatic, and Self-Proclaimed Lover of Healthy Food that’s simple and easy to create.
Do your stretches
Stephanie admits that her biggest challenge is doing the marketing for herself.
It’s hard to know what to do. And to not compare yourself to others who have the formula down and seem really successful. Now, I’m just following my intuition and doing what’s right for ME. I’m not trying to do what others are doing – just finding my own voice in the field.
Chia & Chocolate
I love my new brand, even from the beginning! It was a lot of fun making a vision board, and posting things that really inspire me on Pinterest. I was pretty clear about wanting my brand to feel really happy and light. So it didn’t take to long to finalize the color scheme. The logo was an easy process, and I had quick and clear communication from my designer.
I’m now working toward getting my signature 10-week course done as a digital course. I want to get it into the hands of as many women as possible.
Just be yourself, only better
There are so many wonderful nutrition programs out there. But I think it’s really important to pick one that will teach the business side of being an entrepreneur as well. And then, dive in with both feet!
The greatest purpose of my life, of course, is raising my children. Outside of that, helping women figure out how to be healthy and vibrant in their own skin is pretty amazing!
